Arrival

Arrival

A Poem by Crowfeather2000

Come home, to sweet smell of the lilies, the same as they always were
return to the meadows, where the wind only rises and whispers in your ear
the swallows have waited, with the willows alongside the brook
everything remains, if only you look.
Hang up your coat, return to where your memories have been sent
leave your travels behind you, does your heart not seek to be content?
remember, I shall always be awaiting your arrival
wherever you may be, come home to where time will never change.
