Have you ever messed up in your life? Have you ever done something you want to take back. Everyone has. It may have affected you in some kind of way. If we were in the movies, we could back to the past or into the future like “Back In The Future” where Dr Brown created a time machine out of a car. However, this is reality. We can’t go back in time. It may be possible but we haven’t found a way to do it yet.

My life has been full of mistakes that I regret. I was immature and made many mistakes. I thought life was easy, I thought I could do anything I wanted but I was wrong. That thinking made me do things that I regret now. In the past people called me a creep, an annoyance, a big a**. I was so thick-skinned that I never paid attention to those remarks and I carried on. If I could go back in time, I would find myself and punch him in the face and tell him to change. I used to use stupid reasons to get me out of things. I used to lie to get out of things. All of those things have accumulated and now I am living in a life with many regrets.

A few years back, I made a girl feel very uncomfortable and she told all my friends about it and many of my old friends are avoiding me because of it till to this very day. Sometimes people cannot accept change. When someone changes, others may think he/she is the same person. If I could do something about it, I will do it but if people avoid me how can they know that I have changed. Another time, I was an intern at a company and my behavior there was just horrible. I was always late, I never did a good job and I handed everything late. It was just me being immature. I didn’t take responsibility for my actions and as I look back on that, I feel so embarrassed every time I see that company. People over there have forgiven me but what I remember back then was not good.

But, although things may have been rough, there are people in this world who do not judge you on your past and they treat you as a person they just met. You may have told them about your past but they do not care and they tell you that the past is the past. How we act now is how they’ll judge us. They are the hope of humanity that we must all have. These people are the ones that I really treasure in my life. They have helped me get through all my life. They do not accept who I was but who I am now.

There are many things that I have regretted and I want to turn back time to redo them but I just can’t. So to everybody who reads this, please stop doing stupid things and never live your life with regret. Don’t be like me. Be yourself, be someone that can achieve greatness. Live your life with no regrets!!!
