Pray, trace me

And embrace me

With your bluest eyes.

Let me gently grace you

And with my body praise you,

With hungry eyes as I face you-

Let’s sigh with the slowly melting night

And surrender ourselves to sweet surprise

Oh wow. Simply superb! I did not know about this form till now (and I bet it is a challenging one) but you aced it. The overall effect is so much more accentuated by the sheer simplicity of your style and the vivid images you create with your words. I loved it. :D

Very nicely done. The rhythm is what held me, though it is a relatively short piece it says a lot and the picture really enhances the beauty of the poem.
