DilapidationA Poem by Priya
You break my heart with the
efficacy of a bulldozer dancing on a porcelain plate. I never knew before I met you That love is a drug with a potent side effect of hate. Your face and your smile that once sent me to rapture are now beginning to grate. Your voice that used to sing to me now hums the monotony of fate. I don't know if it's early to say I don't love you, or whether it is too late. I'm sitting by the ruins of the love we once built, now left to dilapidate. © 2014 PriyaReviews
