Illusion

Illusion

A Poem by C. Rose
"

An acrostic form that I wanted to share. I have always enjoyed playing with acrostic form poetry, something about the structured freedom gives my dual sensed brain joy.

"
It's there to see, so faint and so bold, I can only walk in confusion
Lulled by the sense of it's very existence
Lost as quickly as I am found
Unique to all that I am intrinsically bound
Secure in this knew knowing, I walk forward with absolution
Instead I carry with me no longer the burden of resistance
Only the truth will be my guiding sound
Now that my illusion is buried in the ground

Not sure what acrostic is but the poem was very nice :) In a way the poem sounds old, as if written in biblical times or during the dark ages with the words absolution, ground, existence, guiding sound, etc.
Well done, Rose, I loved it!
