Why me?

    Of all the stars that glimmer against the night sky.

    Of all the love songs that could be strum by your tongue.

    Of all the flowers swaying among a field of colors.

    Of all the prayers of old to be whispered from your lips.

Why would you ever choose me?

                I do not shine so brilliantly or uniquely.

                I do not provide profound stirrings of the heart.

                I do not bloom with breath taking patterns.

                I do not provide cures or aide when so needed.

How could you ever love someone so

                Uninspired,

                Typical,

                Plain,

                Burdensome?
