My King

My King

A Poem by cristamay76

In quietness & trust
In you, in you alone
In brilliance & in splendor
You reign upon the throne.
Rainbow splashing colors,
Hair as white as wool
Eyes of blazing glory
You are my healing pool.
Blood as real as mans
Spilled in grace for me,
The wood that held your hands
Nails put in place for me.
I bow low you pick me up,
Under the shawdow of wings
You fill my  cup.
Who am I to be mindful of
That you should pay my debt?
But you wanted me and I am yours
From the day that we first met.
