The Road to Nowhere

The road along life is uneven.

Filled with thorns,

roads are incomplete.

some end early, others go long.

Some lead into darkness; an endless void that leaves a wanting unsatisfied.

Love is hard to find, lust is easy to.

Friendship is valued, backstabbing too common.

Independence is lonliness

Companionship elusive.

This is where I stay. This is where I find who I am.

There are no shortcuts, but there is a way to make life easier.

Friends walk along you on the hard road of life. Maybe they are just waiting for somebody to reach out to them and take their hand. Someone to share the burden of their sadness. The burden of their troubles. Perhaps reaching out will ease your hurt. perhaps you road will become easier to share it with someone else.

The road of life is difficult, and long. But the right people can make it worthwhile and keep you out of the void of oblivion, ignorance and sadness.

First: spelling mistake. Not "you" but "your"... You forgot the "r"
