Procrastination

Procrastination

A Poem by Emma Cathryn

Why does it have to be this hard?
Do you ever learn how to fall out of love
without landing on your a*s,
unable to get up
because of all the shattered pieces of heart
scattered on the floor?
I'm sick of this constant hurt
in this world full of pain.
Is there any solution?
Is recovery even an option?
Don't call me,
leave me alone.
I'm done with stalling,
I'm on my own.
I need to have a good time,
I'm going out of my mind
without you.
Too bad you're nowhere in sight,
you would've enjoyed my
personal fight.
But I don't
and I won't
see you again.
Your eyes,
your smile,
your voice.
It's a trap.
