Showing Colors

A Poem by Emma Cathryn

My heart is gone
and my past is dead.
What is this 'hope
for the road ahead'?
Life is drear,
without you dear,
but even then,
I haven't seen you
in what all those days
feel like years.
The wound is gone
and the pain comes back.
I've already changed
from blonde to black.
What do you want?
What did you think
was going to become
of you and me?
After all this,
my bags are packed
and I can't wait
for not another bullshit word
from you.
The wound is deep,
but don't feel bad.
My blood has seeped,
but why are you mad?
Don't you see?
It's all your fault,
but take this in:
you let it go.
You dropped it all.
You left me waiting
by the stairs.
You showed me
how no one really cares.

Nice, it shows a lot of emotion but I think you could change the ending into a better one. But thats my opinion, I like a poem with a strong ending to it, which I'm sure you could create easily :z
