I think the shining glory about this piece is that you never actually state what love is, which not only inspires feelings of love in others, but offers further proof that mankind just "doesn't get it". Proof of that can be found in the comments other readers have left for you regarding this piece. "Love is this," "Love is that," religious definitions, racial definitions, cultural definitions, sociological definitions, personal definitions, etc. The list goes on to reveal something extraordinary: that love cannot be defined, for something that holds a multiplicity of definitions that are radically different cannot be "one" thing. It also gives a bit of a philosophical turn on an old romantic thought, which breathes new life into the cliche love poem.
Be weary of cliches and running head long into them. In our best attempts to write down what we feel passionatly about, we tend to dive right into pools that have already been filled by others. This piece has a few cliche's in it, but not enough to bog down the overture meaning of the piece.
A final, more critical thought:
"Do u have wings to fly high?"
Lose the internet shorthand. It's distracting and causes a sentence/phrase that could be incredibly powerful to degrade itself.
All in all, a magnificent piece that touches on something so universal, no one can wrap their heads around it fully. Well done.
the age old question, what is true love? everyone says they've experienced it or that it doesn't exist. but who can truly answer that question? Can that question ever be answered? love comes in many different forms and it is infinite, so can any of it be true? this is a very interesting poem and really helps the reader get an idea of what it is. well done here Pal! :)
quite a full and truthful poem. to tell you the truth, though, true love does sometimes come right away. sometimes one doesnt have to wait so long looking for their true love. but most of the time, yes, it does take quite a long time to find that one true love. that one person destined to be with you and a part of you for the rest of your life. great poem anyway.
I wrote a piece about love and How I see it. I also like this very much. I would have to say that real True love is unconditional. This is a piece that will make people think and that is a good thing.

I sometimes think 'keep love away from me'...'leave me alone love'...'let me be free from you and lust'...then I can really start thinking and living properly. Is there an argument for seeking the calm beyond love and lust, time and space to be oneself and think clearly? Or would that be a state of demi-death? Your simple, well-expressed poem makes me think.
