His Joy / His Sorrow

His Joy / His Sorrow

A Poem by Crystalbluepersuasion

This heart is enraged

by the disdain his face displays.

The backwards, twisted, misguided untruths

they continue to spew.

It causes his restraint.

The joy he cannot share

then fades to despair.

Late at night when truths are unhidden

and facts divulged-

the tides turn as the sorrow he beholds.

Diminish your joy, your victory, your glee

because they who spewed the untruths live

in denial and misery.
