Borrowed GroundA Poem by A.CrewsBorrowed Ground
There are bees in my mouth that won't let any words come out. They don't sting, they just sleep. They just lay there and sleep, nestled in between my teeth.
These streets know my feet well. I always find a way to get around. There is a cot at the lost and found, I dream in a borrowed town.
Its a cold scene when the rain won't quite and a raincoat i seem to forget. Thank God I brought two pairs of socks, one for my toes and one for my thoughts. © 2008 A.CrewsReviews
