Strangers yet parting

Strangers yet parting

A Poem by Violet Chan

Those hands I held then,
Now seems not even,
I know I will never hold them again,
Sailing upon this uneven wave,
You are so hopeless that you forgot the word, "Save",
Emotionally you are quite damaged,
You made my mind all stirred,
So I stand amidst the torment land...
I regret the day we first spoke !
I looked at the silent dell,
There were numerous mistakes I can tell,
From the day you started dwindle,
Oh! I saw a small twinkle
It did get closer just to say
Make my own distance from you,
I don't owe you,
I never asked for anything,
It was your own do,
So this is all I do,
Let's part, forever
Sorrowfully I will dust our memories over...
