Spinning a fall

Spinning a fall

A Poem by creativequill

We fell in love
Somewhere between the bad punk music we listen to
And the purple cracked nail polish atop my barefoot toes
On the sunkissed dashboard
Our fingers playing a small wrestling match while they twist together
And your thumb scratching the filter of the cigarettes I've never liked
We fell in love over paper cranes
Made from a mcdonalds receipt
After a sleepless night
And one very long talk
We fell in love
When you danced with me
For no reason
Just took my hand and we spun in the kitchen
Singing your sweet words
We fell in love
Without any second thoughts about changing our world

Beautiful. Perfect explanation of the simplicity and complexity of that strange little big thing called love.
