She jumped in euphoric

when she learnt that she could walk and not crawl

she smiled and laughed

talked loudly and mindlessly

she contented the joy

when she finally knew she was growing up

she brazed the world

with a confidence nobody could snatch

Yet, she forgot

the world is never meant to be hers alone

Yet she forgot

when she threw her old lives she threw her old memories

Yet she forgot

her indecisive decisions and talks had caused havocs

 

And she forgot..

that holding onto her past is worth something sometimes.
