Tick, Tick, Tick

Tick, Tick, Tick

A Poem by crazysox
"

A poem about humanity.

"

Little brown monkeys

In little red vests,

Tiny brass cymbals

Clasped to their chests.

Wind them up,

Let them go,

Stomping steps

All in a row.

Exactly alike,

Marching in ease,

Tick, tick, tick,

Before they freeze.

Step in time,

Line after line,

Each thinking thoughts

While losing their minds.

Many lives, many loves,

Machines by the million,

Clockwork monkeys,

Clockwork men.

That is an interesting way to look at humanity that evokes emotion.
