Trying on Momma's High HeelsA Poem by Zoehappy mother's day
Momma
once young and pretty now graying at the temples. Momma took me on nature hikes now walks a step slower. Momma butterfly kisses for me now words of wisdom. Momma snuck a kiss with daddy now holds his hand. Even as the years pass, I still see the true beauty in you. Looking past the crows feet and the laugh lines and the extra pounds. You are beautiful Momma. I wanna grow up like you.
