whyA Poem by crazyladyShort poem about depression
Why
Desolation, isolation a blackness within the soul. A tunnel of negativity deeper than the darkest hole. Conceived from experience of abuse, neglect and pain. Hiding deep away from reality, wishing she was insane. A desire to turn the world off to find an end for it all. But instead she finds a smile, hides the hurt and stands tall. Ensuring no one sees the pain behind those pretty eyes. She paints a picture of perfection but internally she cries. If only life was simple, kind, pure and true Her life would be easy but this she never knew Standing on the bridge, below the traffic flying by She takes a deep breath and lunges forward desperate to die After no one can understand why she did the thing she did. As her pain and suffering so deeply she had hid. If you have pain and suffering then you must learn to share Because inside your desolation there is someone who will care © 2013 crazylady |
