tears

tears

A Poem by ghost writer

they trickle down your face

wet rivers of sorrow

the fear of tomorrow,

facing it alone.

they flow down your cheeks

cumulative pain

pent up from

weeks of suppressed anger.

they drip off your chin

leaving a moist trail on your skin

like a snail

carrying its heavy burden

they start in the eyes,

deep brown

and end with

a sigh

plop.

. i didn't really see the humour ... i saw the melancholy and the melody and the skill that went into writing this ... beautifully written ... with a magical sensitivity ...

riveting in its ability to touch so many sensations while remaining candid.. like the previous reviewer said, it even has hints of humor..

Haha! I know its emotional and all, but this poem made me laugh. Seriously, the word 'plop' was awesome!
