Sometimes I dream of a better world
A world where everyone feels wanted
Filled with love instead of hate
A world I never got to experience

Sometimes I dream of a happier world
A world where people never got hurt
And that scars and memories were only fleeting
A world I long for

Sometimes I dream of a peaceful world
A world where sleep comes easy
A place where nightmares are not a thing
A world that I will never achieve

Sometimes I dream of an equal world
A world where I am not a set of b***s and a butt
Where no one is put down because of gender or race
A world that I wish for

They say it doesn't do to dwell on dreams,
That they will never happen
But maybe one day my dreams will become a reality
And I can dream of happier things
