Bittersweet Symphony

Bittersweet Symphony

A Poem by Angad Waraich
"

A very close friend of mine was leaving the country. So wrote this for him. Hasty work because it was short notice.

"
Days roll on
As life flies by
People come
And people go
But in the memories
And in thoughts
They live on by

For death may not be permanent
But a friend is for life
As he shares in lives sorrows and joys

Life may send us on separate paths
But the laughs we shared linger by
Reminding us of the good days gone
And better days to come
For in memories is where we find strength
When left and hung to die

A day to rejoice
Brings some loss
A loss to borne
Ever so glad
For it says that there's better to look for in life

After all its a bittersweet symphony this life.

Without the bitter all the sweet would be bland … beautiful penning. Angad.
