Pretending

Yup Yup...I think this rain is having some affect on my writing...

Will we ever...stop this game we play?

Will we ever decide to speak the words

We both know we're feeling.

Or will we always just be pretending.

Like this feeling isn't real...

Or will we take time..to reach down..and tear down the walls that hold us apart.

So

Say goodbye, It's okay I'm sure I can make it seem

That I'll be alright.

Because all I want to know is

Will we ever speak the words we are feeling?

Or, can we always simply live with pretending.

Can we ever have our happy ending..

Or is it with someone else?

I just want to tell you these things in my heart...

Because baby, I'm so tired of us pretending

Not all poems have rythem..some are so out there. But the paint is for the thought to remain open leaving u ( or any reader) wondering. But thanks for the review I understand where ur coming from =)

doesnt really work...with all the elipses and the complete lack of meter or rhythm...feels unfinished to me, more like a collection of verbal ideas
