ComatoseA Poem by Pyrrha Raynfor someone...They say each day is a gift. And never a given right. You taught me to live my life.
You reminded me how to love. But, now I lay here feeling alone. In this comatoes state.
I didn't have a chance. By the time I saw the lights. I thought my time with you was done. And my heart wanted to scream good bye.
But, now I hear your voice in the distance. I can feel your hand clasping mine. But if feels so surreal and unreal.
I'm trying to reach you to show you. That I love you and I'm still here. However, I'm too afraid to move. Out of this comatose estate.
Because this terrible darkness is my barackade. All the things I dodged now stand in fron of me. So, can you help me take a leap of faith.
And when I jump into the black. I want to know if you'll be holding my hand. Or that you will be waiting to catch me when I wake back up. Ready to pull me close and leading me down the path our hearts designed to gether. © 2011 Pyrrha RaynAuthor's Note
