A Timed AngelA Poem by Pyrrha RaynWrote it about a month ago....tell me what you think!A Timed Angel She sits by a lonely pond… Tears falling down her porcelain cheeks… Eyes once filled with hues of life now lonely and sad. How is it an angel can fall so far…? When all she did was hope a single chance… For something that was disguised as beauty. She looks upwards at the angry sky no response ever to come… The tears pool filling the rivets of red along her arms and legs… Her large wings fold around her a barrier so nobody may get in. Wings once snowy white with the passion of true purity… Now slowly blacken by the poisonous ink… That very ink which stabbed her heart, soul, and mind causing her plummet. The leaves pick up twirling about her… Her ribbons of dark hair twisting around those sad silver eyes… She bows her head again meekly humbled and alone… Every angel is timed when they fall… She could feel the clock strike the time… She cast one last look at the rippling water. She allowed her finger to touch the giggling ripples… And that small moment of beauty divine… Caused the cold touch to run into her blood to her heart. The snow sings and sighs into its place… A leave falls onto a silvery water face… An angel timed by a fall sits as stony memory a curse and blessing to all. © 2010 Pyrrha RaynAuthor's Note
