I'll Be/I Am

i think it may be one of the best poems i've ever written ever and forever!

 

I’ll Be

 

I’ll be the one that holds you at night….

The star that’s always shining bright….

When you can’t see me I’m still there standing by your side…

I’ll be everything you’ve wished for and oh so much more.

 

I’ll be the wind that sings you to sleep at night…

I’ll be the birds uplifting song in the morning hues…

Before you fall I’ve already caught you…

When you think you’ve gotten lost I’m already guiding you.

 

I’ll be the one protecting your heart from evil…

I’ll be the one standing by your side when you walk thin ice…

When the clouds cover your sky I’ll push them aside…

I’ll be everything you need until you’ve found someone that can give you more then enough.

 

When I’m gone don’t shed any tears I’m not gone I’m still here…

I’ll be by your side no matter what keeps us apart…

I’ll be the beginning and you the ending of a make-believe story…

I’ve caught your tears even before they’ve gotten a chance to fall.

 

Even when you can’t see my hands or feel their touch…

I’ll be the winking stars dancing in the night time sky…

I’ll be the singing drops of rain that puddle over your skin…

I’ll be here now and forever that’s the single promise to you I’ll forever keep.
