Ink of Black

By: Jenna S. Wise

How do you mute the internal screaming….?

Of pain ripping through your stoned heart…

And massacring your veins into nothing…

How do you stop the ink of black…..?

From staining deep in the depths of your skin…

As it coils like a snake making your breath hard to reach.

I wish I could remember where the tears stopped and the blood started…

I wish I could bring the life back into my eyes…

And I wish I could feel my heart pumping once again.

Wishes are a myth dreams are wants you can never have…

No body should cry alone in a dark ink invisible to haunting eyes…

Somebody…anybody can you hear the screams?

That are cruel enough so make you wince….

If you saw the pain you caused…you could never bear to meet my eyes again…

I hope you know you made me tough I guess I have you to thank.

Without you being my friend I would still be oblivious…

To the fact that you’re best friend can be the worst enemy…

So if I choke or get inflicted by pain…don’t waste your breath.

~It’s just me…and I’ll just fade away someday anyways~
