Life~Death

Life~Death

A Poem by Pyrrha Rayn
"

random poem spur of the moment tell me what you think...

"

I always looked forward...

to autumn colors the hues and smells...

always lingering within the minds reach...

it fasinated me how the leaves so close to death...

seemed to fill with the glories of their lives.

I remember the crips sense of the air...

it was like a cold cracking whip...

only to be warmed by rays floating through the trees...

it fasinated me how in the moments my life became my death...

I was like a leaf shimmering at the peak of glory.

I wouldn't change my life or my death...

even if I was given the chance....

I made a difference that day and no longer felt the pain....

the sun was glowing and the leaves were falling....

For the first time I allowed myself to smile.

Despite that  earlier I felt like a leaf..

floating and spinning out of control...

Only to hit a safe landing at the bottom..

to find the beauty hidden within the darkness.....

That fall day as the sun glimmered and leaves patted my face....

I could smile with my heart already...

Running wild.
