This is Where We Are

This is Where We Are

A Poem by Pyrrha Rayn

I'm trying to get over you....

To move past this sadness..

But it's made itself at home.

I know if I ran...

You wouldn't chase me....

But how far could I get...

Before you'd miss me?

I know you're probably tired..

Of hearing how much I miss you..

But, trust me this is the last time.

I'm not giving up...

I never really could on you...

But, for now, I'll wait and see if you try to find me.

In this elaborate maze...

This labyrinth of fear...

Will you traverse or turn your tail in haste?

Is this is what it's come too...

Pretending the other doesn't exist...

When we both know it shouldn't have ended like this?

So leave me here alone..

With the memory...

Of the day you left me.
