Whole Again

Whole Again

A Poem by Catie_Marie

& Just thinking about him

with a drooping heavy heart

caused flooded eyes that restricted her view

making her lose sight of what

she had always believed in

the river flowing down her cheeks

trying to wash out the feelings for him

but forever they remain like the black stain

of her cheeks from the mascara she wore for him

on the days when she felt like he actually cared

and the days she wasn’t scared to lose him forever

because of something that just had to be done

for her heart to actually feel whole again.
