Tease

There was once this girl
who liked this one boy a bit too much
she liked to tease him everyday
because she knew just how to do it right
she thought by doing this
she'd keep him coming back
he tried his hardest to tease back
but it just wasn't something he could do
she didn't fall for his tricks like he did hers
little did he know it was because
just by still being friends with her
and not being more was enough
to tease her to the point where
she didn't feel frustrated but felt pain
because she didn't think that he'd ever be hers
