Canvas

A Poem by Chasity

Browns, Whites,
Greys, Blues,
A canvas of
sad colors
and hues,
Mixing and
swirling
in a cesspool
of depression
Away I fly
to brighter colors
filled with happiness
and love
No more tears
No more fears
My new life
awaits me
with beauty
A feeling of
Fulfillment
The canvas of sadness
is far away from
me now

This is so lovely. Glad at the end you can find hope. Wonderful.

I find it somewhat amusing, my thoughts on this piece, in regards to the way you have written this. You paint the picture for us of what it was like and what it has become, while talking about a painting. I mean, c'mon - that scores blatant points for coolness.
