My thoughts on this line of reasoning is pretty simple, but that is because I can be a manipulative b*****d at times... why do them any favors in leaving when you can hang around and screw with their minds... muahahaha.

Okay, seriously - it is something that should not be done for another, but for oneself. In that, the question has to be asked if it is a desperate act of hope - hoping that it will make things better. My general thought is that it is unlikely. Odds are on the other side, they will not have as many flavors of ice cream. I really like Stephen Colbert's AmeriCone Dream by Ben & Jerry's.
