The question barely came up in the life's of normal people, nevertheless teenagers. It was a matter of life or death, and I was in control of what happened. Yes, I am going to let the life's of millions be lost. Or, no, I am going to risk my own life and tell the truth.
It was all up to me, now.
I'd dare tell Eva about what I'd heard her talking about that one night; the night the decision came upon my shoulders. I could be murdered.
What did it matter? Either way, someone would die. But what did matter was that it was either one person who lost their life, or millions. Me against everyone else the plot was targeting. I thought of it as a one on ten sports game. One of the teams had to lose, didn't they? But the chances of the larger team winning were higher that the one person.
Only if the one player knew the game plan.
The only problem was, I didn't know what the game plan was. And I only had a short time to figure it out.
