I'm Tired and Suprised with Myself (Five new poems)

A Poem by Mark Powell
"

Eh. It's a start.

"

No wife of the ocean,

as beautiful as thee,

had walked the night....

with such sympathy.

True queen of elements,

and nature so true.

Nothing as wise or sweet,

can be as you.

----------------------

I'm tired of waiting,

and wasting my time.

I'm tired of lying,

to say that i'm fine.

I say i'm alright,

but you know what I mean.

All of this lying's just making us keen

---------------------------------------------

Marlboro,
buried in the snow.
What makes you better than me,
entombed in perfect symmetry?
--------------------
Welcome to the new paradise
The dawn is as constant as the sunset…
The days as long as the nights…
The fruits as sweet as nectar.

But I’m still lost as ever
And where do I go
When I get disappear?
-----------------

Snow crushed under dull heels,
Towers of smoke and white gold blaze
Cigarettes don’t make me real..
But I feel like things will get better…

And in the end nature is our beautiful mistress,
And I her mischievous destroyer
