my love

oh my love, i love you.
be with me tonight.
so that we can dance together
under heavens light.

remember me again, please.
that charged electric rush.
your love comes pouring into me.
i feel it when we touch.

come and hold my hand again,
say you wont let go.
oh my love i need to tell you
how i miss you so.

these days alone i wander through,
day by dreary day.
fantasies of late night calls
and things i hope you'll say.

oh my love, i love you too.
i swear i miss you more.
and even though you're bad for me
its you that i adore.

come and mend my broken heart
and take my pain away.
we can fall in love again
like times of yesterday.

forget about what people say.
its just me and you.
i want to take your breathe away,
the way i used to do.

oh what a night we had together
what a dream come true.
remembering the happiness,
the time and how it flew.

i know this isn't love again.
but i cant help but wish,
that later on you'll show you love me
with the perfect kiss.

but now i watch you leave again.
i'm dying as we part.
i try to hold the pieces in,
of my re-broken heart.

but oh my love i'll wait for you,
to see what i can see.
i know one day you'll realize
that we were meant to be.
