I was listening to some Evanescence song. Can't remember the name. D: It inspired this.

Lie to me.
Tell me you love me.
Tell me I'm all you've ever wanted.
Tell me I'm all you'll ever want.
Tell me I'm your one and only.
Tell me you'd do anything for me.
Tell me when you leave, you'll be back in my arms.
Tell me that I'm sick.
Tell me everything will make sense when I get better.
Tell me anything.
Tell me anything but the truth.

I've had many inspirations from Evanesence. Many. I can understand, also, this feeling that you wish for in this poem. To just have that one person who puts the light in your eyes to want you under any circumstance...and blind you with it so there be no pain. That one person who has become your axis and your world spins upon it and without it to center you...you'd crumble. Yes I know. Very lovely write...but a few words, and yet they tell enough.

I wrote a poem with the same feeling early last month.
Sometimes false happiness is better than none at all, isn't it? It's an unhealthy view, but whatever. I get it. XD
