Mother, Heal Me

Mother, Heal Me

A Poem by Invisible Ink

Mother, heal me

My limbs are crooked
My back is broken
My hands are empty
My words are never spoken

Mother, heal me

Heal my heart, clear my soul
Spread your arms out wide,
wide enough to reach inside
my darkness and help me let it go

Mother, heal me

Heal my spirit, still my mind
Fill all of the cracks and crevices
that have built up over time,
with the feel of sunshine

Mother, heal me
