Old Life

Old Life

A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

That life is over now It has left so many times I don't even know how to say goodbye anymore

"
That life is over now
It has left so many times
I don't even know
how to say goodbye
anymore

I have tempted fate
been tempted to fly
stood still and waited
for that fate to pass by
until it's to late

Sand in my hands
in my hair and to many
to count, to much
to wonder why
that hourglass keeps ticking

ticking by, like bicycle spokes
you can't count them
until they are still
and still, I think
I could catch a moment
and freeze it

in time

I love that one ... I could felt the clock rush to catch me .... I could feel the wasted time
