I Am The Morning Glory

I Am The Morning Glory

A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

“Quarrels end, but words once spoken never die” - African Proverb

"

I am the morning glory

which wilts in the afternoon

I am the ribbon that fell

and stuck on a bramble

I am the letter delivered late

and the bill past due

I am that word uttered too quick

to take back from you
