Climbing Trees

Climbing Trees

A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

A menacing note?

"

limbs reach like crooked hands into the sky

vines drop like ladders enticing passers-by

hearts are warm and juicy deep

dancing off of branches with lush leaves

and we climb and we eat

fruits of paradise or elsewhere

where we haven't a worry or a care

Trees offer their fruit and shelter to other living things such as us humans, a wonderful vision.
