Tell Me This

Tell Me This

A Poem by Invisible Ink

Tell me this, oh heavenly one

Before you bite your tongue

Goddess divine, say the words

Before you go blind, before you go dumb

Before life takes you down

Beats you to the ground

While you are still young

While you still have the sun

While it still shines in your eyes

And life is kind and life is fair

While the halo still hangs there

Tell me now, before you forget

While the heart still beats without regret

While that skin is still new

And all of life breaths in you

You left out the question. ;) I like it though. Kudos.
