eating oranges at night

eating oranges at night

A Poem by Invisible Ink

because I want you
I say my name

the moon is full and round
and white tonight

it hangs like
a giant albino orange

in the sky
waiting to be picked

and peeled
and tasted, and I

because I want you
my hands enfold

that place inside you
that I value

like a secret, once kept
now told
