Honey Sky

Honey Sky

A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

...

"
damn, if my heart could beat out some kind of warning
its message strong and clear, and if i could only listen and hear
maybe those stones in my shoes wouldn't have kept me falling
stumbling like a blind-folded man in some ill-ventured comedy bit
until i reached out...

my fingertips touched the warmth of your lips
i opened my eyes, while a signal drop fell from the blue

damn, how the clouds moved with your breath
creating halos along the path of your thigh
the sweetness soaked me, we were covered
with the sting of sticky drops on new flesh
which i licked from your skin,

we melted into each other, under the honey sky
