Pray for me
pray for love
for what is on your table
what feeds you
gives you hope
pray for those
in darkness
and in light
pray for the hands
that hold you
up
pray for solitude
and togetherness
for the cross 
you bare
for the wealth
of your heart
pray 
in our beginning
and our end
for the glue
that holds my hand to you
so that we don't give up
stand up
for what is true
and pray
make it a miracle
what you believe
because there is no time
to be silent now
sing your lullaby
peacefully in the night

your prayer
shall be heard
and in its words
and its meaning
there will be
a new beginning
