I Forged Myself

I Forged Myself

A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

...

"
I forged myself
out of the only materials
I could find
a bar of metal
a piece of steel
the grass that grew
beside that wasteland
that used to be me
I spread like a wildfire
devouring oxygen
felling great trees
until I burned
brightest
and my fuel
ran out
