A Poem by Invisible Ink
"

looking up, falling down

"
Baby, you hide it so well,
you could be a stone wall.
I’m looking for the nitch
to tuck my hand into,
a crevice, a foothold,
to climb up to you.
I'm searching for a hole,
where I can look through
into the soul of you,
but I keep falling short
when it comes to
finding the heart in you.
I need a ladder
to climb up, when you
cut me short, I fall into
the underbrush underneath
your sad broken heart.
