Being in a relationship with you is like being one of those cars

that the monster truck soars over

you don't know how you got there but you are and then it's over

the stunt is done

you could have been crushed left for someone to pick up the pieces

you're alive

then you somehow go back for more

this time you know how you got there and you're loving every minute

racing with adrenaline so close to danger you come but unscathed

and go back in line

 

 

 

Thought it was forever

alone in a crowded room

no one hears me screaming

no one knows I'm crying

invisible to all

big fake smiles

my heart is broken

my life shattered.

 

 

 

 

I thought we were different

that we shared our tears and laughter

but I'm left to cry on my own

I thought we were different

sharing our favourite moments

but I'm left with memories
