Bittersweet KissesA Poem by CraigThe taste of your lips sting me,
where it once invigorated me.
That sweetness,
I thought to be love,
has turned sour,
spoiling the hint of love.
Your kisses have turned cold,
bitter,
repulsing my heart,
poisoning me to the core.
Is this what they mean by
"bittersweet"?
I do not know...
But I know there lies more
bitter within you,
than there is the sweet. © 2016 CraigAuthor's Note
