Tempestatis

Tempestatis

A Poem by Craig John Edwards

Tempestatis
-

Cracking through the tireless waves

Through the eye of the maelstrom

Waits the Master of Graves

Upon an unforgiven ocean

Only a captain braves.

Battle of man and sea

A tyrant, beast and beauty

Death of intertwined destiny

To the darkness they go

Souls dying breathlessly.
